When New Mexico Detective Danny Rivera is transferred from the city of Hobbs, she’s relieved to get away from the chaos she’s unintentionally caused in her hometown. Her new assignment in Crickton, however, isn’t the respite she expects it to be.
Misery begins as soon as she meets her cold and aggressive new partner, Detective John Calvin. He doesn’t respect Danny and has no faith in the young detective’s skills.
